For those who dont wish to utilise the biamp features of the Dual we offer the Cabernet Single. Supratek has been using directly heated triodes (DHT) in preamps since the early 90's and we were the first company to offer the 101D in a commercial preamp, after the success of our 300B preamps.

The Cabernet Single uses 6SN7 as input tube and 101D output tubes as standard , but can also be ordered with 300B DHT tubes, for a warmer, "tubier" sound.

There are various copies of this preamp-imitation is flattering, but if you want the real sound of DHT preamps, Supratek has the experience and the sound.
